    Day 1: The Journey Begins

    Cusco - Santa Rosa

    Our adventure starts early in the morning from Cusco, leading us on a scenic drive through the Peruvian Andes to Capuliyoc. From this vantage point, we take in breathtaking views of the Apurimac Canyon before beginning our descent toward Playa Rosalinas. As we navigate the lush Apurimac River valley, the trail challenges our endurance while rewarding us with spectacular landscapes.

    Upon reaching Playa Rosalinas, we start the demanding ascent toward Santa Rosa, where the steep incline puts our stamina to the test. As night falls, we settle into our campsite, surrounded by the tranquility of the Andean wilderness. With the first day behind us, we prepare for the deeper exploration of Choquequirao, a trek that promises both physical challenge and historical wonder.
